The conference is designed as the fifth in a series that will reach more and more people in Europe over time. The aim is to inform women and men from politics, business, academia, the arts, etc., as well as all interested citizens, about the application of European ethical principles and democratic values to all digital processes, in order to ensure that the internet, social media, AI, robotics and all other digital systems serve the good of humanity and not the other way around. Since ethics is an abstract concept for many people, practical examples are important and exciting. At the conference, academics will talk about their different approaches and companies, organisations and foundations will present their ideas.
