GERMANY – Paula

It’s up to us to make our voices heard at the ballot box!

So, young people don’t care about the future of Europe? I don’t think so! But we need to make those around us know how important it is to go out and vote, and to use the #UseYourVote feature on together.eu.

Following the summer academy, organised by the European Parliament representations in Berlin and Vienna, I became more active in the together.eu community.

As a European studies student, I believe voting starts with getting informed. To engage young people, we organise online discussions with MEPs and experts. Participants are surprised by the EU’s impact on trending political discussions.

Moreover, I distributed hundreds of flags for Europe Day 2023 to together.eu members in Germany and Austria, gaining visibility on social media and during the European Youth Event in Strasbourg.

I am truly excited about upcoming events in the run-up to the European elections in June 2024.

I believe voting starts with getting informed. We need to make those around us know how important it is to go out and vote.
